Spring Flag Football in “The Valley” 

Registration is now open. Valley Flag Football offers a fun, semi‑competitive spring league designed to help young athletes build fundamentals, confidence, and game awareness in an age‑appropriate, positive environment.

The Spring season runs from April 12 through May 17, with games played on Sundays only, making it a great option for families looking for structured competition without a heavy weekly commitment.

Registration opens February 1. The cost is $180 per athlete, which includes a team jersey. Scholarships are available for qualifying families.

Valley Flag Football divisions are structured to match field size and gameplay to athlete development. Grades 1/2 (coed) play on a quarter field. Grades 3/4 (coed) play on a half field between the numbers, while Grades 5/6 (coed) also play on a half field. Grades 7/8 compete on a half field with separate boys and girls divisions.

Athletes are placed on teams by age group through their local high school youth football programs. Participating programs include Barlow, Nelson, Clackamas, Gresham, and Sandy.

Registration opens May 1st.  If the link isn't live after May 1st, registration has closed for the season.  Teams will be capped due to available equipment and/or coaches.  

FOOTBALL SEASON STARTS 8-4-2025

Sandy Tackle Football - REGISTRATION CLOSED

• Incoming 3rd-8th Grade (in Fall 2025)
• $300 Early Registration (increases to $325 June 1st,  then $350 July 1st.)
• Registration Dates: May 1st - July 15th (closes at 11:59pm)
• Payment Plans are available at checkout
• Players must reside within the boundaries of the Oregon Trail School District or attend one of our OTSD schools to register with SYF; proof of school (report card with address or Parent Vue School Enrollment with address) must be provided. If you live outside the boundaries and attend a non-OTSD school, you must apply for a waiver and be approved before registering.

• REFUND POLICY (tackle)

  If you decide to pull your child before August 3rd,2025, you will get 100% back minus the processing fee.

  If you decide to pull your child from August 4th to September 5th,2025, you will get 50% back minus the processing fee.

  If you decide to pull your child after September 5th,2025, you will get 0% refunded.

Once registration closes or teams are full, athletes can be put on a waitlist by contacting our Registration Coordinator at registration@sandyyouthfootball.org.  Families will be notified by email if there is enough space on our teams for waitlisted athletes.  Waitlisted athletes will have a short window of time to register if space is available.  Late registration (for waitlisted athletes) will incur a $50 late fee.  All players are required to sell pepperoni sticks, unless an opt-out fee is chosen and paid at the time of registration.
